So you’ve made your first, or maybe a few needle felted projects, and may be wondering how to go further with this craft. Delve into tools, materials, and techniques of needle felting in this exploratory course.
This class is like a needle felting test kitchen. You will be able to try out different types of wool, felting needles, felting needle holders, and felting pads You’ll be able to try felting onto an armature and into different core materials. Learn more techniques for making small details like hands, tails, and ears, including incorporating wax into felt for very fine details. Discover your favorite tools and materials and where to get the ones you want to add to your own tool kit. We’ll investigate what resources are out there on the internet and get inspiration from other felt artists.

Intro to Needle Felting or other previous experience with needle felting, such as another class, a kit, or an independent project is recommended as a pre-requisite for this class:
