For Single Classes

To receive a full refund for a single, stand-alone class, that is not a part of a series, you must give a minimum of 24 hours notice if you cannot attend. With less than 24 hour notice I retain the right to refuse to give a refund, however in certain circumstances I can make exceptions. Please reach out to me via email.

For Series Classes

There are no partial refunds on series classes, but I do offer make-up classes if possible, please email me if you have missed or will miss a class that is part of a series. To receive a full refund on all classes in a series, you must give a minimum of 24 hours notice that you cannot attend. With less than 24 hour notice I retain the right to refuse to give a refund, however in certain circumstances I can make exceptions. Please reach out to me via email.

For All Classes

Please note that if the class does not reach the minimum required enrollment, the class will have to be cancelled. You will receive a minimum of a 24 hour notice if this is the case, plus a full refund.

For Single Classes

Stand-alone classes will only be cancelled in the event of an emergency, in which case you will be given a full refund and be notified of the cancellation via the email you used to sign up for the class.

For a Class From a Series

In the case of a cancellation of one class in a series, I will work with you to reschedule the missed class.

All Classes

I will always strive to give as much notice as I am able, and only cancel if there is no other choice.

Causes for class cancellations, include but not limited to:

• inclement weather
• family emergency
• COVID exposure

Unless otherwise listed in a class description, all attendees must be 12 years or older to participate in a class and/or if they will be left at Charon Arts without a parent, guardian, or other person age 18+. Please reach out to me via email regarding kids younger than 12 interested in learning fiber arts for private lessons or private group classes.

If the class attendee is a minor who will be left at the class or workshop without a parent, guardian, or other person age 18+, then you agree to hold harmless and waive liability for the instructor or Charon Arts any incident that may occur.

You acknowledge and agree that if at any time you believe the conditions of the Charon Arts Workshop and related activities to be unsafe you will immediately discontinue any further participation in the class or related activities or notify an instructor of such conditions.

Please note that Charon Arts is a shared workspace. As such there may be art or situations present that may offend, including, but not limited to:

• artwork with nudity
• active tattooing and partial nudity

Generally images are taken of classes, both in-progress and after completion. If you do not want images of you or your minor's face posted to my newsletter, website, and social media, please inform me in advance. I will also always remove images upon request.
