Talia Lefton is a fiber artist creating sculptural works through felting, sewing, and incorporating natural materials. She explores themes of change and transformation through fantastical, shapeshifting creatures, and recurring vessel forms. Combining spiritual and emotional experiences with imagery from myths, folktales, and cycles of nature, Talia uses personification to investigate assigning symbolic meaning to nature, and to reaffirm our inextricable link to our ecosystem.

Talia teaches project based fiber arts workshops on felting and sewing. She teaches at her studio, Charon Arts, in WIlliamsburg, MA, and travels around Massachusetts to present workshops.
