Needle Felting with an Armature – March 12, 19

Tuesday, March 12th + 19th, 6:30-8:30pm

In this class you will learn how to needle felt over an armature to make a 4-6″ figurine or animal. Adding an armature to your needle felting projects opens up so many possibilities to work larger and to create long limbs or tails that can support themselves.

In the first week you’ll use pipe cleaners to make a support or skeleton to felt onto. Then you’ll needle felt the basic shapes with undyed core wool. In the second week you will add colors and refine the details of the piece.

Intro to Needle Felting or previous needle felting experience is recommended!

All materials included.
